About
I am a Hungarian craft practitioner based in Graz, sharing the living knowledge of traditional spinning and weaving.
My focus is on hands-on experience, material connection, and the continuity of textile traditions that link people across time and place.
What I offer is not formal teaching, but an opportunity to explore how the rhythm of handcraft can bring calm, awareness, and community into modern life.
Ich bin eine ungarische Handwerkspraktikerin mit Sitz in Graz und vermittle das lebendige Wissen des traditionellen Spinnens und Webens.
Mein Schwerpunkt liegt auf dem praktischen Erleben, der Verbindung zu den Materialien und der Weitergabe von Textiltraditionen, die Menschen über Zeit und Raum hinweg verbinden.
Was ich anbiete, ist kein formaler Unterricht, sondern eine Einladung, zu entdecken, wie der Rhythmus des Handwerks Ruhe, Achtsamkeit und Gemeinschaft ins moderne Leben bringen kann.
What I Do
I work with wool in its natural form — from raw fleece to hand-spun thread and woven fabric.
Every process is demonstrated on traditional tools such as spinning wheels and hand looms.
Participants are invited to take part, to touch, to ask, and to experience the transformation of raw fibre into thread with their own hands.
Ich arbeite mit Wolle in ihrer natürlichen Form – vom Rohvlies bis zum handgesponnenen Faden und gewebten Stoff.
Jeder Arbeitsschritt wird mit traditionellen Werkzeugen wie Spinnrädern und Handwebrahmen gezeigt.
Die Teilnehmenden sind eingeladen, mitzumachen, zu berühren, Fragen zu stellen und die Verwandlung der Faser in einen Faden selbst zu erleben.
Collaboration
I am open to collaborations with schools, museums, cultural centres and festivals that value traditional crafts as part of living heritage.
With my mobile studio, I can bring the experience directly to different locations in Austria and neighbouring regions.
My background includes years of practical demonstration and community workshops connected to the Hungarian Wool Festival (Gyapjúfesztivál), where I continue to take part as organiser and presenter.
Ich bin offen für Kooperationen mit Schulen, Museen, Kulturzentren und Festivals, die traditionelles Handwerk als Teil des lebendigen Kulturerbes sehen.
Mit meinem mobilen Atelier kann ich diese Erfahrung direkt an verschiedene Orte in Österreich und den Nachbarregionen bringen.
Ich verfüge über langjährige Erfahrung mit praktischen Vorführungen und gemeinschaftlichen Workshops im Rahmen des ungarischen Wollfestivals (Gyapjúfesztivál), bei dem ich weiterhin als Organisatorin und Vortragende mitwirke.
